Hey planefags!
TY for your service.
Can you help me?
Without doxxing myself too much, I was working outside today about 10 miles southwest of Johnstown, PA, and heard a jet plane overhead - looked up to see a C-5 at about 1500 ft, going real slow, like 250 knots at a heading of 160. This was about 1200 EST. Then 15 minutes later, another C-5 went over at approximately the same altitude and heading, though its course was at a parallel vector to the first one about a mile to the east.
I've been here 20 some years, and never seen a C-5 or any other large plane going over at that altitude - I don't think it was coming from Johnstown Airport - JST - as their main runway is not in my direction; the C-5 would have had to make a sharp right turn right off the runway, then a sharp left if it were coming from there.
Did any planefag see such planes on the radar at that time? I know it was a C-5, I saw many in the Army.
