Those are called "McLeod's", very useful in making fireline in grassy/woodland areas.

Wildland fire fighting is the "moral equivalent of warfare", most normal people wouldn't last a day on the fireline, much less an entire season that will see you start in February in the Florida Everglades and end up in November in Northern Idaho with about 8 days off during the entire season.

Then you spend the rest of the year healing up, doing PT and attending to training requirements so you qualify to do it again next year. Not for keyboard warriors.
