Like other CIA banks, BCCI’s raison d’être was to become a money launderer for the world’s drug dealers, provide an institution to hide arms purchases, to facilitate gold smuggling, and, ultimately, re-purpose those rat lines and contacts for human trafficking.

To recount his involvement means retelling the long tale of internationalist greed, warmongering, dirty deals and the payoffs and double-crosses that characterize American foreign diplomacy at the hands of the Cabal.

FBI Investigation Results in Puerto Rican Indictments

An ongoing FBI investigation saw a federal grand jury in the District of Puerto Rico returning an eight-count indictment against Nelson Del Valle Colon, a member of the Puerto Rico’s House of Representatives, and two of his employees, Nickolle Santos-Estrada and her mother, Mildred Estrada-Rojas for alleged participation in a conspiracy of multi-year theft, bribery and kickbacks.

The Department of Justice announced Thursday that Del Valle Colon, Santos, and Estrada were charged with conspiracy, as well as theft, bribery, and kickbacks relating to programs that received federal funding. Del Valle Colon also faces additional charges of honest services wire fraud and obstruction of justice for destroying his cell phone data.

“Puerto Rico legislator Nelson Del Valle Colon and his employees allegedly embarked on a years-long conspiracy to enrich themselves by embezzling funds and using bribes and kickback to defraud the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Brian C. Rabbitt of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division. “As the case shows, the Department of Justice and our law enforcement partners are committed to holding elected officials accountable for corrupt conduct.”

Chicago City Council Members Call For State Of Emergency Declaration, Request National Guard

A group of Chicago City Council members requested that Democratic Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker immediately declare a state of emergency in Chicago and deploy the national guard in light of ongoing rioting and looting in the city.

The City Council held a special meeting Friday to consider the resolution. The governor was asked to deploy the national guard for a period of 4 months to assist local law enforcement in quelling the unrest.

The council members also asked for monthly public safety hearings and “reports regarding the collective and unified efforts to address the rioting, looting, destruction, and most importantly, the safety of all Chicagoans.”

The Covid-19 pandemic may lead to a calamity of epic scale, with millions facing starvation worldwide, the head of the UN’s hunger-fighting body has warned.

“All the data we have, including WFP forecast that the number of people experiencing malnutrition will grow by 80 percent by the end of the year, … points to a real disaster,” David Beasley, Executive Director of the UN World Food Program (WFP), said.

The rapid increase in the number of people who can’t feed themselves will be just an immediate outcome of the pandemic, which caused a disruption of food growth and logistics worldwide. More long-term damage is bound to materialize in the years to come.

“Obviously social tensions will grow, migration will increase, conflicts will escalate and hunger will likely affect those who didn’t experience it before,” the official told the Russian news agency TASS.
