A video shown at the Democratic National Convention featured clips of the 2017 Women’s March co-chaired by Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions proponent Linda Sarsour.

Joe Biden has been accused of hypocrisy after he disowned a Palestinian-American woman whose activism was celebrated at the Democratic National Convention (DNC).

Biden’s campaign conddemned Linda Sarsour after she spoke at a DNC fringe meeting on Tuesday in favour of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign “to end international support for Israel's oppression of Palestinians and pressure Israel to comply with international law.”

"Joe Biden has been a strong supporter of Israel and a vehement opponent of anti-Semitism his entire life, and he obviously condemns her views and opposes BDS, as does the Democratic platform", his campaign spokesperson Andrew Bates told CNN.

"She has no role in the Biden campaign whatsoever", Bates added emphatically.

But a video entitled "America Rising: Women’s Suffrage to Women’s March", broadcast from the virtual convention on Wednesday, contained footage of the 2017 Women’s March which Sarsour co-chaired.

The activist hit back in a tweet, accusing the DNC of using the video to “make themselves seem relevant” while “throwing my communities under the bus.”

US intelligence agencies are sitting on a treasure trove of documents that detail Iran’s direct, material involvement in the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks in Benghazi, Libya, that cost the lives of four Americans. But until now, deep state bureaucrats have buried them under layers of classification, often without reason.

From CIA officers, military contractors, and sources within US Special Forces, I have learned of the existence of at least 50 briefing documents that warned of Iranian intelligence operations in Benghazi. Some specifically predicted an Iranian attack on US diplomats and US facilities. Those documents have remained inaccessible, including to the Select Committee on Benghazi chaired by former US Representative Trey Gowdy.

The CIA, the NSA, and Joint Special Forces Operations Command operatives in Benghazi and in Tripoli were actively monitoring Iranian operations in Benghazi in the months leading up to the attacks. Indeed, according to a private military contractor who contacted me from Benghazi in February 2011, Quds Force operatives were openly walking the streets of Benghazi in the early days of the anti-Gaddafi uprising. At the time, their presence was an open secret.

By the summer of 2012, US intelligence and security officers in Benghazi and Tripoli warned their chain of command — including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens — that the Iranians were preparing a terrorist attack on the US compound in Benghazi. These increased Iranian preparations prompted the head of security for Stevens, Green Beret Colonel Andy Wood, to send a cable to his commanding officer in June 2012 that the Iranian-backed militia — Ansar al Sharia — had received their funding from Iran and were now sending their wives and children to Benghazi

Until now, the government has released just a handful of heavily redacted documents relating to Iran’s Benghazi operations. Throughout the Obama administration, officials with knowledge of the Quds Force presence in Benghazi, including security contractors who defended the CIA Annex in a 13-hour battle with the jihadis, were repeatedly threatened with prosecution if they revealed what they knew. Among them was the then-director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Gen. Michael Flynn.

Some 17 people were killed and one survived after a cargo plane crashed shortly after taking off from Juba International Airport (JUB) at around 9:00 a.m. (local time) in South Sudan on Saturday, witnesses said.

Joseph Mayom, assistant professor at Upper Nile University, said a passenger who survived the incident was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

"According to what I have witnessed, one person was rescued after screaming in pain and was immediately taken to the hospital. We have counted 15 people and two crew members, bringing the total to 17," Mayom said.

He said the cargo aircraft belonging to South West Aviation crashed in the Hai Referendum residential area of Juba, adding that the plane was still burning as the crowd scrambled over scattered ash.

Kur Kuol, director of Juba International Airport, confirmed the plane crash, noting that the plane was en route to Aweil and Wau to deliver staff salaries for an organization.

"There are no more details I can give you right now but what I know is that it was a cargo plane carrying motorbikes, spare parts, food items, and NGOs staff salaries but there were no more people onboard," Kuol said.
