Going by a NYPD insider who has posted here a few times in the last week, Barr's job is to keep the country and economy intact. If he can't get it right, Trump crashes the whole thing by revealing the Wiener laptop.

With Brennan, it could be that he got a deal to rat out Obama, Biden and Clinton. It sucks, IMO, that they let bastards walk with fat pensions, but maybe the alternative is worse. Maybe the best way out is just to get hem the fuck out of Dodge and let the good guys start over.

Have to look at a RICO down the road, too, which may be different than the criminal stuff now. Get their assets seized and returned to the taxpayers.
