My post warning about #savethechildren on Facebook
I joined this group when it popped up a few weeks back and in general it provides some good memes and news articles about human trafficking cases. While I rarely see anything political, I have seen a few memes that seemed like covert leftist propaganda. For example, last week I encountered a meme suggesting that Thomas Jefferson was a pedophile and serial rapist along with an alleged photo of Sally Hemings, the slave thought to have fathered some Jefferson offspring. It was a clever meme because it twisted and distorted circumstantial evidence and seemed intended to destroy any ideal that we may have that Jefferson was a noble man. Anyway, I fully exposed and destroyed the meme and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Moreover the comments I have read posted by this group seem to be largely by Trump supporters.
While I received a lot of likes to the warning I posted Above, it was very strange that all the comments posted so far all just have the Hashtag #savethechildren. Bots?
