>We believe in the principle of Ubuntu, that the individual is inseparable from the community
Wow that's SO creepy! Sounds so much like "the Borg" in Star Trek. Demanding we all irreversibly "assimilate" into their control-matrix reality. shudder
We're all in separate bodies because that's how we're meant to experience life. We're born alone, and even if we're in a mass-murder event like 9-11, we nevertheless die alone. Our experiences in sum are ours alone, and we can be part of a group event yet come away with individual perceptions of that experience.
The claim to encumber individuals into a community which does not tolerate individuation is the death knell of societal evolution. Such a plan is destined to fail. If the victims/slaves of such a system truly cannot escape, as in Chinese communism, then suicides will escalate until the fabric of that totalitarian society unravels.
