>so wait. So does this mean that Galvin has had some sort of epiphany?

>Is he trying to get his state's ballots to be not invalidated by doing this?

Is it possible that courts ordering elections invalid from mail in voting snafu's have the fraud by mail scammers worried? The governor just passed this bill against serious opposition and now doing a 180?

Botched mail in elections are being ordered to be re-done, but in the Presidential election with a January 20 deadline there wouldn't be time for a do over so the entire state's election would be null and void.

This also an opportunity for the administration to co-opt the "mail in voting" scheme to a "mail out ballots, return in person" scheme. That way they could be checked against the registered voters and because of the demonstrated fraud, require in person I.D.

The legislation for mail in ballots in Oregon provided for the DISMANTLING of polling places which leaves us no viable alternative than have the National Guard set up the polling places and provide security along with ICE and DHS in attendance.

Couple of ICE vehicles in the parking lot keeps a lot of the riff raff away.

>It won't be ICE or DHS. those are executive branch.

A federalized NG, whether being deputized or not are also Executive branch. Time for the Executive branch to start flexing those powers that the liberals took to themselves when they were in office. I'll bet they'll regret it so bad they'll trim back the power of the Executive (if they can) which is not a bad thing if you have honest representatives and judiciary. Or not.
