You are correct there anon, but not to go inside ones' mind. Rather, to learn a proper method of separating from and observing ones' mind, emotions and body correlating to the three centers of intelligence in man.
One can then have the strength to look into ones' nothingness and, perhaps, find the undiscovered country within which is teeming with intelligent life, and the Kingdom of Heaven.
But, for this one must first properly cultivate the attention. In order for to do so one needs new knowledge, and to find a guide who knows what the student needs and the treacherous way which, wrongly travelled can lead to insanity.
Self-initiation is the only possible true initiation. Wide is the path that leads to destruction.
