There will be no bright line when this is over, there will always be evil in the world. When the major battles have been won, we will need to stand guard, always on the watch for those who will rise up to try to enslave the world again.
Second, as REagan said - liberty must always be fought for in each generation - it will be our job to educate the next generation, to teach them to think for themselves.
