Chief of Staff to ‘Biden Whisperer’ and ‘Biden Admin Power Player’ Chris Coons Just Registered As Lobbyist for the Chinese Communist Party-Owned Alibaba

Chris Coons, the Senate successor to Joe Biden also known as the “Biden whisperer” and “power player” in a potential Biden administration has seen his recent Chief of Staff register as a lobbyist for Chinese Communist Party-linked Alibaba. Adam Bramwell leveraged his credentials as the Senator’s Chief of Staff and General Counsel from 2016 to 2019 to procure the role of Managing Director at the consulting behemoth Mercury Public Affairs. On August 1st 2020, he registered as a lobbyist for Alibaba, a Chinese company whose founder Jack Ma is a member of the Chinese Communist Party who insisted he was “in love with them.” In 2015 Forbes reported the “Chinese Government Has A Huge “Stake” In Alibaba” and The New York Times unearthed the company’s “deep political connections of the investment firms, Boyu Capital, Citic Capital Holdings and CDB Capital, the China Development Bank’s private investment arm” in 2014. The Times also noted Alibaba’s “senior executive ranks included sons or grandsons of the most powerful members of the ruling Communist Party.”

DEMOCRATS ADVISE THE CCP

Providing Alibaba with the expertise gained at taxpayer expense in the Coons office is egregious in light of the Chinese Communist Party’s human rights abuses and assault on American jobs. The hire, however, is made exponentially worse coming amidst the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, where millions have died as a result of the Chinese Communist Party spawning and spreading the disease while withholding vital information from the World Health Organization and the world writ large. It also casts Bramwell’s dealings with China while in Congress in an interesting light; why would the Chinese Communist Party knowingly hire a lobbyist they felt had attempted to thwart the regime’s attempts to overtake the U.S. to assist in the areas of “technology policy issues,” “access to US capital markets,” and “issues related to e-commerce”? Perhaps Bramwell’s extensive ties to Coons – dubbed by Politico as “The Biden whisperer” – are the reason why. Coons extolled Bramwell in a press release detailing his shift from Chief of Staff to Senior Adviser, emphasizing “for over thirty years, Adam has been one of my closest friends and confidantes” and how the pair would enjoy “continued collaboration and close friendship.” Coons, who replaced Biden in the Senate when he departed for the vice presidency, has also been described by Politico as “maintaining almost familial ties with Biden” and playing a “critical role in shepherding the former vice president’s legislative priorities.”

COONS THE CCP-LINKED ‘POWER PLAYER’

“If Joe Biden wins in November, much of his agenda will hinge on a potentially surprising power player: Chris Coons,” Politico continued. Coons, therefore, had a prominent role in the Democratic National Convention (DNC) as both a speaker and surrogate arguing against charges Biden is soft on China. Most recently, the Senator defended the candidate for allocating a negligible amount of time to the Chinese Communist Party in his speech and throughout the DNC while slamming President Trump for his COVID-19 response. “I’ll remind you, back in January and February as the pandemic was spreading around the world, it was Donald Trump who was saying positive things, cozying up to Xi Jinping, and it was Joe Biden who was sounding the alarm bells about this pandemic,” Coons argued,” he remarked during an interview on Fox News Sunday. The provably false remarks prompted President Trump to call the Senator a “very weak and pathetic Schumer puppet” on Twitter.

Man Shot in Wisconsin, Jacob Blake, Appears to Have History of Gun Crime AND Warrant Out for Arrest

A new round of protests and riots broke out in Kenosha, Wisconsin, last night following the shooting of Jacob S. Blake by police officers. But far from an innocent bystander, it appears officers had a reason to believe Blake may have been dangerous. The Heavy.com website reported: According to Wisconsin Circuit Court Access online records, a Jacob S. Blake, same age and with an address in the same exact block where the shooting occurred, had a warrant issued for him on July 7 on pending accusations of misdemeanor criminal trespass to a dwelling with domestic abuse as a modifier; felony third-degree sexual assault with domestic abuse as a modifier; and misdemeanor disorderly conduct with domestic abuse as a modifier. A support action was dismissed, and the only other case that comes up is for not having a driver’s license. The warrant was issued on July 6th 2020.

Further information about Blake reveals a history of violence and gun use — including pulling a gun at a bar and resisting arrest and causing injury to a police officer: A 2015 story in Racine Eye described how “Racine police say K9 Dozer had to help officers take a man into custody when the man refused to go quietly into custody after he pulled a gun at a local bar.” The man was described as Jacob Blake, 24, of Racine, which makes him the same age as the man shot by police on August 23. The Racine Eye story says he was charged with “one felony count of resisting arrest causing a soft tissue injury to a police officer and one misdemeanor count each of carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, endangering safety-use of a dangerous weapon, and disorderly conduct.” Those charges don’t show up on the circuit court website though. That story further alleges, “Blake and two women were at the Brass Monkey tavern, 1436 Junction Avenue, Saturday when Blake got into an argument with another patron and pulled a black handgun. Blake pointed the gun at the other man, and the magazine fell to the floor. The bartender told Blake to leave, and he did but then pointed the gun through the window at patrons inside the bar before walking south on Junction Avenue.” Police stopped Blake in a “high risk traffic stop” but he “exited the SUV and started walking toward officers and ignored commands to get down on the ground,” the story says. That’s when officers forced him to the ground and used a K9 when he kept resisting, the story adds.

While shooting an individual in the back may at first glance seem disproportionate from local police, when you contextualize the fact that Blake had a history of gun violence, violence against the police, and had a recent warrant out for his arrest, it becomes understandable why police felt they may have been at risk – especially given Blake’s continued defiance of their orders. Jacob Blake’s Facebook cover image is a picture of pigs in police uniform.
