The Second Department of China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA), which is the PLA’s intelligence unit, sent staff members from a large network company, with fake IDs, to China’s Consulate in Houston.

Those technicians used a large video platform’s backend data to identify people who might participate in the Black Lives Matter (BLM) and ANTIFA’s protests and then created and sent them customized videos on how to organize riots and how to do promotions.

Why Can't "Science" Be Corrupt?

Many of us grew up believing that Academia is the one institution that is immune from corruption.

We gradually came to terms with the reality of corruption in every other major institution of society… but not Academia.

We learned that corporations are inherently corrupt and could not be trusted.

We eventually learned the same thing about politicians.

And banks.

And the media.

And churches.

And the entertainment industry.

And the oil industry

And the police.

And the judicial system.

And the acronym agencies, like the FBI and CIA and MI6.

And governments.

One by one, we gained awareness of the corruption in all of them.

But all the while, there's been one that we kept our trust in.

One which we've singled out as eternally incorruptible.
