Yeah, that’s bullshit. 24p/25p/50i/60i you never ‘lose’ or ‘gain’ any information, it’s just smooth or not smooth.
Sure there are flickers. Almost every hollyweird movie is shot in 24 frames. In germany/Europe we have 25 frames for every tv production. That’s not that that bad to watch, just a hit accelerated. But how is it when you interlace those 24 frames for tv (59.94hz). I don’t really know tbh.
