I have always taken the phrase "the military has decided never to let another piece of shit sit in the office of president" to mean it did not matter who was VP…that if Pence was dirty and something happened to Trump then Pence was not likely to live out the day himself.
I think accepting a dirty Pence likely made the Satanist think "well its not so bad" and not panic when Q and Trump might not have been totally prepared yet. They would be calmer thinking they might just kill Trump and all their problems would be over.
