Logic says that the rinos were/are in charge of the party. Trump could not have won the nom unless he went along with them on a VP, just as it is thought Reagan did with Bush.
Once the police are defunded, one can't have "right wing" militias taking over…..only the BLM/Antifa militias can handle that.
IMO he had to 'play the game'. The rinos/deep state own the game and set the rules. As any chess game, it takes a strategy and time to set the game in your favor before you can go for the win.
