I posted this late last night but I wanted to post it again so those during the day could see what I found.

Read onโ€ฆthis is weird. There may be more here than what is evident on the surface.

Maybe 20-30 breads ago, someone posted a link to this PDF of the book Metropolis. I tried to locate a link to the original notable, but was unsuccesful.

There was nothing particularly interesting about the notable, but it struck me as odd that it was considered notable. So, I decided to read it. It took me about 5 hours and I'm glad I did.

Not what I expected. I expected another book that revealed lots of symbolism and generally stuff that the cabal wouldn't want people knowing. While that stuff is in there, the first half of the book is what one would expect and the second half degenerates into a much more typical sci-fi action 'thing'.

I hated the ending. There is no real justice - the worst character - arguably the reason everything is all fucked up - ends up being the repentant poor guy who now sees how his sins were wrong and is given the reins to rebuild all the stuff he fucked up. The main character is somewhat unaddressed. The corruption is never really revealed.

To put it mildly, this almost-not-notable notable post is VERY STRANGE to me. I'll explain:

This doesn't look like a normal notable to me. This looks like a cabal communication where the cabal is begging for its life. IMO, they're begging for their lives and trying to imply that they're the best people to help rebuild all of the carnage they've caused.

This book was released in the 1920's, disappeared for decades and was re-released in the 60's. Did the cabal rewrite the ending of this book? I have no idea.

Fuck this. I'm posting this here in case others want to read this book and see what kind of analysis you have. Below is a link to the book. (If you search for the misspelling, you can easily find the pdf. Also, the PDF filename is misspelled as 'mertopolis.pdf'.)
