Given your experience, you are in a good position to red pill those around you.
It is not a Rep/Dem thing; it is a right/wrong, light/dark, good/bad, service to others/service to self thing. We have been sold out by pure personal greed.
Case in point, I and many others here want to see McStain and McConnell go just as bad as Schumer and Pelosi. Both Parties have their share of leaches, both old timers and new. Both Parties have some good guys as well, though while doing research they don't stick out as readily.
Be aware there is potentially a disturbing trend coming, where exC_A types try to get elected to seats vacated by less than scrupulous persons. I would encourage you to bypass those in favor of others. While they might have been clean, if they wanted to represent the public AGAINST the tyranny we're escaping, they would have done that BEFORE they lost their job enforcing that same tyranny.
