It used to be all about America and not a RvD thing so to read you even have to ask that pisses me off that a fellow American would think about that. Not at you of course. What the DNC has become is, frankly, anti American. People who are on the left can gripe and bitch all they wish but it is simply no longer follows the original core values that party professes and now follows an odd combination of communism, socialism, and Maoism. The ironic truth is this is a monster completely created by the DNC to try to garner votes by both disenfranchising minorities and also by creating division through race, gender, religion, etc.

This all began in the 90s in my eyes and began to show its face in the early 00s. So fast forward to today and now an entire generation brought up to believe what began in the 90s are now adults, have no conception of how to deal with life and truly believe themselves to be victims.

Enter Sanders. "You are owed this! You are owed that!" Said generation now say "FUCK! I am owed these things because I am black, I am a faggot, I am this/that whatever". The DNC/HRC say "Fuck... they are going to capsize the entire party". So they cheat to beat Sanders and the people go fucking nuts wild about it without even recognizing the DNC would (truly) likely not win even a fucking local race at this point unless they either lied or cheated. It's just that bad. Why? They have LITERALLY no message outside of identity politics, they have NOTHING outside of it.

The GOP on the other hand has very connected people but, unfortunately, corrupt as fuck people pretending to be Republican and bought by overseas groups.

This is why Trump smashed his way to the WH. The people are sick of these fucks. They are sick of these games and they want these bastards out and a return to traditional America by huge numbers. Add the corrupt media and, long story short, I fully get why you are done with that shit. Anyone who stays in the current DNC is utterly stupid given their anti American lean.
