Everything has meaning, but much of it won't be able to be forecast. At least, not all that consistently. We are basically brainstorming ideas at this point and looking to see what fits with future events. Some will just fit because you can't sling a dead cat without hitting the cabal, it seems.

And why is that?

The stars are incredibly accurate navigational tools that can denote multiple things. Not only can they be used to determine where you are (SR-71 had a computerized star dome that may as well have been GPS), but they can tell you WHEN you are.

Why did the ancients build out of granite? Instrument tables rivaling today's industry standard can be found back when we were supposedly using string and sand to cut stone. It's like finding a fiber optic cable threaded through the Roman aquaducts.

What was the ancient fascination with buildings made to last hundreds of thousands of years while logging the passage of time using an understanding of celestial motions that rivals or exceeded our present understanding? This goes way beyond a simple hobby or need to plant crops. The cycles plotted by the ancients were 24000 years long - longer than the known history of civilization.

Something important has been lost.

Take away all the toys and set the kids in opposite corners.

What surprises me is the number of people who seemed to legitimately believe there was never going to be any use of military force. What has surprised me is how much has been accomplished with virtually no bloodshed from our side.

That is what leaves me the most stunned, in a way. I am not fool enough to believe no one will be killed in conflict, but I am very impressed and pleased with how the paragon path is playing out far more ideally than I ever thought possible.
