Looks to me like one of the protesters tried to grab the rifle, but the sling held. Shooting starts after that.

Also, when Kyle gets up and there are no direct assailants, he stops shooting. He didn't shoot the guy with his hands up. IOW, no spray and pray.

I'm just not sure if the shots at the very end are from Kyle or not. Looks like he was under control and visually assessing

If someone did try to get the rifle, different ball game wrt to threat of deadly force, IMO. He was trying to retreat, the protesters weren't.

Answering myself. Might be the first shots were as the guy kicked him. Looks like the guy who kicked him tried to get the rifle and got shot.

The guy who tried to attack him after the 1st guy got shot has/had to be one of the dumbest MF's on the face of the earth. The other guy nearby at least had the sense to put his hands up.

Getting kicked in the head, after the much reported incident last week where the guy was dragged out of his car and was kicked, should be extenuating, I's think.

Point being made that Kyle had already shot one person and that's why he was being chased. Don't know about that.

Other's say the second guy who was shot in the slo-mo had a hand gun. He was the one shot in the arm. Comments think that was the gunfire towards the end of the slo mo. Makes sense, AFAIC, as the reports sounded different from the the shots from Kyle's gun.

Anyone have the story of the first shooting the comments mention?
