Once he is seated, he can resign and let another be appointed to finish out the remaining 3 years and 364 days of his next term.

I'm up in NC, so I can't touch him. We are STUCK with Thom Tillis, too. We had a good candidate to replace him, but he was too unknown and just didn't get enough votes. It'll be Gephart (sp?) the next time, though. We are going to primary that unsteady Tillis.

My adult son designs and builds some absolutely exquisite furniture, but he only took a few business classes in college so I don't think he's familiar with this design. I'm emailing him a copy as inspiration. ;-)

Similar experience a few times in my life. I won't go into details because it will only fuel the talk of us all being crazy and dangerous. Like most of us, I was explicitly invited here by a stranger. After the first invitation I was invited again by another stranger on another comment board. Then I was perma-banned from both boards.

So … I'm hanging around to find out WHY I was chosen.

A long time ago, I drowned. I still remember the journey and being perturbed when it began to reverse. I told my wife about it long ago and she told her sister this week. While under anesthesia two days ago (cancer surgery), my sister in-law began the journey, too.

Through my wife, she relayed that it was just as peaceful as I had described it and knowing what was happening – that she was dying and that it was okay - that we leave one life in order to begin the next - was tremendously comforting.

The point being that we never know where the truth may go and what it might accomplish if we but have the courage and the honesty to speak it.
