Former First Lady Michelle Obama criticized white Americans in her latest edition of The Michelle Obama Podcast, stating that she was treated like she didn’t exist during the presidency of her husband Barack.

“When I’ve been completely incognito during the eight years in the White House, walking the dogs on the canal, people will come up and pet my dogs, but will not look me in the eye. They don’t know it’s me,” Obama recounted, adding later: “That is so telling of how white America views people who are not like them, like we don’t exist. And when we do exist, we exist as a threat. And that’s exhausting.”

During another part of the podcast, Obama recounted how she, daughters Sasha and Malia, and friend Denielle Pemberton-Heard went for ice cream. “We had just finished taking the girls to a soccer game. We were stopping to get ice cream and I had told the Secret Service to stand back, because we were trying to be normal, trying to go in,” Obama recalled. “There was a line, and… when I’m just a black woman, I notice that white people don’t even see me. They’re not even looking at me.”

“So I’m standing there with two little black girls, another black female adult, they’re in soccer uniforms, and a white woman cuts right in front of us to order. Like, she didn’t even see us,” the former first lady continued. “The girl behind the counter almost took her order. And I had to stand up ’cause I know Denielle was like, ‘Well, I’m not gonna cause a scene with Michelle Obama.’ So I stepped up and I said, ‘Excuse me? You don’t see us four people standing right here? You just jumped in line?'”

She added: “She didn’t apologize, she never looked me in my eye, she didn’t know it was me. All she saw was a black person, or a group of black people, or maybe she didn’t even see that. Because we were that invisible.”

The process of China increasingly trading with itself will be more than enough to keep the necessary sustainable development momentum going.

The hypersonic factor

Meanwhile, on the geopolitical front, the consensus in Moscow – from the Kremlin to the Foreign Ministry – is that the Trump administration is not “agreement-capable”, a diplomatic euphemism that refers to a de facto bunch of liars; and it’s also not “legal-capable”, an euphemism applied, for instance, to lobbying for snapback sanctions when Trump has already ditched the JCPOA.

President Putin has already said in the recent past that negotiating with Team Trump is like playing chess with a pigeon: the demented bird walks all over the chessboard, shits indiscriminately, knocks over pieces, declares victory, then runs away.

In contrast, serious lobbying at the highest levels of the Russian government is invested in consolidating the definitive Eurasian alliance, uniting Germany, Russia and China.

But that would only apply to Germany after Merkel. According to a US analyst, “the only thing holding back Germany is that they can expect to lose their car exports to the US and more, but I tell them that can happen right away because of the dollar-euro exchange rate, with the euro becoming more expensive.”

On the nuclear front, and reaching way beyond the current Belarus drama – as in there will be no Maidan in Minsk – Moscow has made it very clear, in no uncertain terms, that any missile attack from NATO will be interpreted as a nuclear attack.

If Bolivian Gov't Delays Vote Again, It Will Trigger Uprising Impossible to Contain, Journo Warns

Bolivians' patience is wearing thin as La Paz is yet to deliver on its vow to hold snap elections in the country after the military forced ex-President Evo Morales to step down and flee the country. Although the government scheduled a new vote for 18 October, MAS supporters remain on alert, says Bolivian journalist Alberto Echazu.

The de facto Bolivian government's decision to postpone the country's general elections in late July for the third time in a row under the pretext of the COVID pandemic prompted nationwide protests spearheaded by Evo Morales' Movement Towards Socialism (MAS) supporters, the Bolivian Workers’ Central (COB), and trade unions.

Starting on 3 August, Bolivians kicked off marches, rallies, and erected road blockades across the country urging La Paz to deliver on its promise and let people cast their ballots for the first time since the November 2019 coup d'etat. According to Nodal.am, within just 24 hours, more than 75 major roads and highways in the provinces of La Paz, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz, Oruro, and Potosi were fully or partially blocked by the protesters. After 10 days of blockades and rallies, the de facto government struck an agreement with MAS on a law that mandates a vote to be held on 18 October and envisages criminal penalties for any effort to change the date.

Protests Suspended, But MAS & Unions are on Alert

"The protests have stopped", says Alberto Echazu, a political analyst and journalist with La Resistencia Bolivia. "The Bolivian Workers' Central (the worker’s union that encompasses all Bolivian workers) and the Pact of Unity (peasants and indigenous worker’s organisations from all of the country) instructed their affiliates to lift the blockades after an agreement was reached between the Legislative Assembly and the Electoral Tribunal to establish the definitive and immovable date for the elections on 18 October".

Bearing in mind the de facto government's previous political manoeuvres, Bolivian trade unions and MAS remain "in a state of alert" to prevent any new attempt to suspend it, according to the journalist. He believes that if Jeanine Anez postpones the election once again, it will surely trigger a new uprising "that will be impossible to contain''. Although tensions have scaled down, La Paz's intentions to crack down on trade union leaders is keeping the tension high.

Kamala Harris: 'There is No Vaccine Against Racism'

A few years ago, a political cartoon depicted Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton looking wistfully into the night sky as they make a wish “for an end to racial strife and bigotry.” In the next panel, both suddenly evaporate, indicating that the eradication of racism would leave these two “leaders” with nothing to do and that their race-hustling would come to an end.

This brings us to Sen. Kamala Harris’ Democratic National Convention speech, where she accepted her nomination as vice president and quickly whipped out the race card. Harris said: “And let’s be clear — there is no vaccine for racism. We’ve gotta do the work.”

A vaccine against racism would be the worst possible nightmare for Democrats such as Harris and her running mate, Joe Biden. A vaccine would produce the mother of all the emperor-wears-no-clothes moments.

As with the Jackson/Sharpton cartoon, the elimination of racism would deprive Harris of liberals’ go-to excuse: Blame racism. Whether the disintegration of the Black family, urban crime, or support for public schools with high dropout rates and where those who remain in school often cannot read, write and compute at grade level, the left blames racism.

During the convention, former President Barack Obama, as he did during the eight years of his presidency, pushed the America-is-a-racist-nation narrative: “Americans of all races joining together to declare, in the face of injustice and brutality at the hands of the state, that Black Lives Matter, no more, but no less, so that no child in this country feels the continuing sting of racism.” He, of course, provided no definition of what he means by “the continuing sting of racism.”

When in private practice, young attorney Obama was on an eight-member legal team representing one of the plaintiffs in a class-action lawsuit against Citibank. The plaintiffs argued that Citibank turned them down for loans because of racism. The lawsuit claimed Citibank “rejected loan applications of minority applicants while approving loan applications filed by white applicants with similar financial characteristics and credit histories.”

Despite denying any racial discrimination in denying their mortgage applications, the bank settled, giving some plaintiffs cash payments and others mortgages. According to a 2012 piece in the Daily Caller: “Roughly half of the 186 African-American clients in (Obama’s) landmark 1995 mortgage discrimination lawsuit against Citibank have since gone bankrupt or received foreclosure notices.

“As few as 19 of those 186 clients still own homes with clean credit ratings.”

Given the plaintiffs’ post-loan approval track record, had there been a vaccine against racism in the ’90s, would it have made it any more likely that their loans would have been approved?

Arguably, a vaccine against racism would disproportionately impact Blacks, but not in the way Harris likely thinks. Question: Who is racist? A recent Rasmussen survey of Americans found: “Eighteen percent (18%) say most white Americans are racist. But 25% believe most black Americans are racist. Fifteen percent (15%) think most Hispanic-Americans are racist, while nearly as many (13%) say the same of most Asian-Americans.” As to anti-Semitism, it is higher among Blacks compared with the general population, 23% versus 14%, respectively, according to a 2016 survey commissioned by the Anti-Defamation League. The survey found, “In the past four years, anti-Semitic views among the African American population have remained steady and are higher than the general population.”

2 Young Florida Women Arrested For Pimping Girls For Sex

BROWARD COUNTY, FL — Kiara Nunez, 21, of Hollywood, and Alexandra Ramirez, 19, of Coral Springs, were arrested on August 24, 2020, for their alleged involvement in sex trafficking of minors.

The arrests were made without incident by the Broward County Human Trafficking Task Force.

Both suspects are in federal custody and facing federal charges. Watch the video report below.

Kenosha police busts 3 ‘out of state’ vehicles with gas cans & illegal fireworks believed to belong to Seattle activist group

Police in Kenosha, Wisconsin say they found fuel containers and illicit fireworks inside three “suspicious” out-of-state vehicles tied to an activist group in Seattle, which has denied any link to recent riots.

Officers were informed about “several suspicious vehicles with out of state plates” on Wednesday evening, described as “a black school bus, bread truck and tan minivan,” according to police. The vehicles were followed to a gas station, where they were seen attempting to “fill multiple fuel cans.”

“Suspecting that the occupants of these vehicles were preparing for criminal activity related to the civil unrest, officers attempted to make contact and investigate,” the Kenosha PD said in a statement on Thursday. “The minivan attempted to drive away; however, Kenosha Police stopped this vehicle and ultimately forced entry to the minivan and arrested the occupants.”

The vehicles contained various items that included helmets, gas masks, protective vests, illegal fireworks and suspected controlled substances.

The police statement came less than 24 hours after a Seattle-based activist group, Riot Kitchen 206, shared footage online showing an arrest closely matching the scene described by law enforcement, including the moment officers smashed out the window of a minivan and arrested its occupants. Calling the incident a ‘kidnapping,’ Riot Kitchen said the vehicles were theirs.

“Riot Kitchen HQ just learned that our bus crew was arrested in broad daylight in Kenosha today – kidnapped by feds in unmarked vans,” the group said. “We are currently trying to find our friends who were just there to feed people.”

Ultimate Zoom disaster: Philippines government official loses job after video meeting sex romp with secretary

In one of the greatest Zoom fails of the entire coronavirus pandemic, a government official in the Philippines has been booted from his job after being caught having sex with his secretary during an online conference call.

The Fatima Dos village council in the province of Cavite had gathered online for another routine Zoom meeting when something entirely out of the ordinary happened. The boss, Captain Jesus Estil, appeared on screen in the midst of an all-consuming sex session with his secretary.

Reports in Phillippine news outlets reveal that Estil was known to struggle with technology and the hapless official hadn’t realised he’d left his camera on. The steamy tryst was witnessed by several members of the council’s staff.

One of the witnesses recorded the romp and the footage soon went viral across the Philippines. The video even became a topic of discussion in the media and on chat shows.

In the video, Estil can be seen seemingly attempting to turn off his computer’s camera before turning his attention to his female companion. The other employees in the meeting continue as normal before everyone quickly realises that Estil and the woman are passionately performing a sex act on each other.

Several minutes later, Estil walked back across the room, while pulling up his trousers, to rejoin the call.

The viral video quickly prompted complaints to the authorities, and the Department of Interior and Local Government said that Estil will be relieved of his post as quickly as possible.

The official who looks after complaints said the department “will do everything” to punish Estil. Neither of the Zoom-crossed lovers has returned to work since the incident occurred.

Arch-Conservative warmonger William Hague endorses Joe Biden for US president. Is anyone surprised?

Ex-Foreign Secretary William Hague, who has unfailingly promoted interventionism, says Joe Biden as US president will be good for the UK, being the pro-”freedom and democracy” candidate. Let me tell you what this is really about.

I've known William Hague since he was an old man. The young fogey who bedazzled Margaret Thatcher at the Conservative Conference in 1977 was 16 going on 45. He's now someone born around the time of Palmerston.

Sitting, of course, in the House of Lords, he's forever opining from that dungheap about events in other people's countries, quite unabashed about his less-than-glorious period as leader of the Conservative opposition (one of the few who never became prime minister) and a disastrous spell as Britain's foreign secretary.

Hague likes to kick around Johnny Foreigner, usually the dusky ones and, crucial this, when they are not in much of a position to defend themselves.

But this time he has taken the unusual step –for a Tory grandee– of launching a bit of foreign interference in the upcoming American elections.

Even more surprisingly –for a Tory grandee– Lord Hague has awarded the much coveted Hague endorsement to… Joe Biden, the Democratic Party challenger to Donald Trump.

I can think of no other time in history when such a senior Conservative has endorsed any presidential candidate openly, and certainly not a Democrat…

In a Daily Telegraph column, widely reproduced elsewhere, Hague argued that it was in "Britain's national interest for Joe Biden to win" because Trump has "shown disdain for the values of freedom and democracy."
