I’ve recently asserted that the media has an agenda and it tends to not involve waiting for full information before rocketing their version in front of as many uninformed people as possible. By the time actual facts begin to emerge, the damage is already done in the psyche of most of America that simply swallows what they’re given in the media spoon.

While a valuable discussion can emerge out of just about any police situation where we can debate the merits of laws and tactics, context is always king, not conjecture. For that reason, here is a 39 page document prepared by Detective Kelly Goodlett and now released for folks to see that the idea that Breonna Taylor was simply an innocent EMT murdered by the police. The facts simply don’t line up with either side of that equation.

Her death is no doubt unfortunate and I mean no disrespect to her family nor her potential at living a life outside of one connected to crime but if we ignore reality we are forcing ourselves into a position to be incapable of actually making any forward progress in culture.
