Senator Rand Paul Claims Rioters Are Organized and Being Paid – An Observation We Reported on in May

We reported in May that recent riots in the US in many Democrat-led cities around the country are hardly spontaneous. They appear to be coordinated organized and well funded.

It is highly likely that these riots are related to the same individuals involved in similar activities over the past year or years. The people behind the riots are likely linkedd to anti-US entities like US based Islamist Organizations, domestic terrorists and other far left groups with links to the Democrat Party.

Rand Paul left the event at the White House last night and found himself in a very dangerous situation as rioters attacked him and his wife and harassed and threatened them as they tried to make it to their hotel near the White House.

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., told “Fox & Friends” he believes he would have been killed if not for the police when he and his wife were surrounded and attacked by a “mob” yelling threats and pushing police upon exiting the White House after President Trump‘s acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention (RNC) Thursday night.

“It was horrific,” the Republican senator — who had part of his lung removed due to a complication from the 2017 assault by his neighbor — told host Steve Doocy of the “unhinged” mob that continued to get bigger and bigger.

Paul shared:

“I believe there are going to be people who are involved with the attack on us that actually were paid to come here, are not from Washington, D.C., and are sort of paid to be anarchists,” he said. “This is disturbing because really, if you’re inciting a riot that’s a crime, but if you’re paying someone to incite a riot that person needs to go to jail as well.”

“They were inciting a riot and they would have killed us had the police not been there,” the senator added.

As we reported in May, there clearly was no reason for the mass riots taking place around the country after the death of the individual at the hands of the police in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Nothing warrants the wholesale destruction of property and further injuries and deaths around the US since that event.

It is clear there is more to this than meets the eye. We believe we have identified some of those who are behind the riots around the country. We are able to say this because similar activities occurred over the past year and we identified the actors related to those events and believe the same actors are likely involved in the current riots as well.

NBA Commits To Transforming Every Arena Into A 2020 Voting Location

It looks like grandstanding NBA stars like LeBron James, who have been pushing for the league to do something "social justice-ey" after failing to shut down the postseason, have finally gotten their wish.

Adam Silver has apparently consented to a new arrangement whereby all the leagues arenas will be transformed into 2020 voting locations

That way, people can feel safe voting in person. Somebody should probably tell them that the last thing Democrats want is a workaround that deflates their argument for mail-in voting. The league has also announced that it's taking a "series of further steps" to advance the social justice agenda as well.

Play will resume over the weekend.

Meanwhile, roughly 100 NBA employees based in New York went on "strike" on Friday in solidarity with the NBA and WNBA players pushing for social justice.

They reportedly spent the day calling elected officials.

Considering that the NBA is so far in China's pocket that even the mighty LeBron James suggested that "free speech has its negatives" when the CCP brought the league to its knees after that disastrous Daryl Morey tweet voicing support for protesters in Hong Kong, we can't help but wonder: Is this some kind of Beijing-approved electoral tampering? Is President Xi doing everything in his power to get out the vote in the US?

Think for a second. Who is facing a greater threat of state-backed "oppression"? Middle Class American college students? Or the people of Hong Kong?

Illinois Judge Grants Kyle Rittenhouse’s Request to Delay Extradition Hearing

A judge on Friday granted Kyle Rittenhouse’s request to delay his extradition hearing to September 25.

The Illinois judge postponed a decision on whether 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse should be returned to Wisconsin to face charges after he killed two men in what now appears to be acts of self defense, reported AP.

Rittenhouse was arrested on Wednesday and is currently being held at a Lake County juvenile center.

The teen was hit with 6 charges on Thursday:

1)1st-Degree Reckless Homicide

2)1st-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.

3)1st-Degree Intentional Homicide

4) Attempt 1st-Degree Intentional Homicide

5)1st-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety

6) Possession Dangerous Weapon (Misd.)

AP reported:

A judge postponed a decision Friday on whether a 17-year-old should be returned to Wisconsin to face charges in the killing of two people on the streets of Kenosha during unrest following the police shooting of a Black man, Jacob Blake.

The Illinois judge granted Kyle Rittenhouse’s request to delay the extradition hearing to Sept. 25 during a brief hearing that was streamed online. Rittenhouse did not appear.

Assistant public defender Jennifer Snyder, who was representing Rittenhouse, asked for a delay in the extradition hearing, so her client would have time to hire a private attorney. She said Rittenhouse had spoken by phone with his mother since his arrest.

Lee Filas, spokesman for the Lake County, Illinois, state’s attorney, declined to comment on whether other charges were being considered for anyone who may have acted as an accomplice to Rittenhouse.

Noted attorney Lin Wood defended Rittenhouse and said the teen was acting in self defense.

Merkel reveals she has no regrets over 2015 migrant influx, claims she would let 1 million into Germany again

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has doubled down on her controversial open borders immigration policy, saying she would make “essentially the same decisions” if presented with similar circumstances to the 2015 migrant crisis.

Merkel was asked about the policy during her annual summer press conference in Berlin on Friday. “When people are standing at the German-Austrian border or the Hungarian-Austrian border, they have to be treated like human beings,” the German leader told journalists.

The politician added that European nations will face similar tough decisions for many years to come. “The subject of migration … is not finished. It will be a constant theme for the 21st century,” she said.

There were roughly one million first-time asylum applications in Germany between 2015 and 2016 – one of the critical moments of Merkel's 15-year tenure as chancellor of the European nation.

Despite an initial wave of popular support among the German people, the reality of Merkel’s immigration policy decision quickly gave way to skepticism and, later, controversy and a backlash, after a slew of high-profile incidents involving migrants, including numerous sexual assaults during the 2015-16 New Year's Eve celebrations.

Some 1,250 women in at least 12 cities were reportedly sexually assaulted. At least 24 of the victims were raped – in most instances, by non-European men. The Berlin Christmas market attack in December 2016 only added insult to injury, and fuelled another wave of public outcry at home and abroad.

The authorities’ handling of both situations inflamed widespread skepticism of the migration policy and at least partially contributed to a surge in support for the anti-immigration AfD party, which gained a foothold in the German parliament for the first time in the 2017 federal elections.

MGM Resorts To Fire 18,000 Employees, A Quarter Of Its Workforce

While stocks soar to recorder highs by the day, no prosperity is "trickling down" to the leisure and hospitality industry - the sector most hit by the covid shutdowns - and things just went from bad to worse for the US gambling mecca where as CNBC and the WSJ reported, MGM Resorts International intends to send separation letters to 18,000 previously furloughed employees throughout the US. The job cuts start next week, and represent about a quarter of all the company's pre-pandemic US workforce of 68,000.

"Nothing pains me more than delivering news like this," MGM's CEO Bill Hornbuckle wrote in a tear-stained note to accompany the thousands of pinks lips. "The heart of this company is our employees and the world-class service you provide. Please know that your leadership team is working around the clock to find ways to grow our business and welcome back more of our colleagues," Hornbuckle said.

"While the immediate future remains uncertain, I truly believe that the challenges we face today are not permanent." Hornbuckle added “The fundamentals of our industry, our company and our communities will not change. Concerts, sports and awe-inspiring entertainment remain on our horizon.”

The company promised to extend health benefits for furloughed employees until September 30.

The "good news" is that MGM said it still plans to rehire those workers as business demand returns, and will maintain a recall list of former employees, and workers who return before the end of 2021 will retain seniority and immediately resume benefits, the company said. Health benefits for cut workers are being extended through Sept. 30.

"Federal law requires workers to be given a separation date if they’re furloughed for longer than six months. Aug. 31 marks six months of administrative separation for the furloughed MGM employees," said CNBC.

MGM's Empire City in New York state and Park MGM in Las Vegas remain closed, as casinos in Las Vegas are all operating at limited capacity with large declines in tourism and travel to the Las Vegas Strip. In June, Nevada casinos were allowed to reopen at half occupancy and MGM Resorts phased in casino reopenings over the following weeks. Two of MGM’s 13 Strip resorts, Park MGM and the NoMad, are still closed, and MGM’s Mirage casino reopened this week. MGM Resorts reported a 91% drop in revenue for the three-month period that ended June 30, a similar decrease to other operators on the Strip.
