Been a shooter (turned gunsmith) for over half a century, and still can't figure out how a high velocity round dumped enough energy to shatter a pelvis, without leaving a huge messy entrance wound (especially at that range). That is more common with slower, heavier stuff, like a larger pistol bullet.
