As you may know, TED has talks on pedophilia as a mental disorder and promoting it as not criminal along with other controversial talks, such as GMOs as healthy. Gates's agendas are being platformed on TED by its current CEO Chris Anderson. Anderson is also part of Edge (edge [dot] org - founder is John Brockman). After digging through the 990PF IRS returns, a lot of the fund it receives are from technocrats and well known players in technology.
There are many TED initiatives, one which is the Audacious Project and is meant to be a "collaborative funding initiative that is unlocking social impact on a grand scale". TED works with the Bridgespan Group, who then selects the initiatives they want and grants are offered to them. Bridgespan is funded by numerous philanthropies and businesses including Bain and Gates Foundation. Full list of funders is here: https://www.bridgespan.org/about-us/our-funders.
Some of the Audacious Group's listed Gates Foundation, Virgin Unite, Children's Investment Fund Foundation, ELMA Philanthropies, Skoll Foundation, and the Science Philanthropy Alliance. The last three charities aren't well known but were worth looking into:
1. ELMA
They have four offices (1 in NYC, 3 in Africa). Six foundations sit under its main foundation; each for a different cause:
-
The ELMA Foundation: invests in organizations that improve the lives of children in Africa
-
The ELMA Relief Foundation: invests in relief efforts anywhere in the world, with an emphasis on children in Africa
-
The ELMA Growth Foundation: invests in the growth of organizations that improve the lives of low-income communities in Africa
-
The ELMA Music Foundation: invests in organizations that use music to improve outcomes for children and youth in the United States and South Africa
-
The ELMA Vaccines & Immunization Foundation: invests in the expansion of immunization coverage for children, with an emphasis on Africa
-
The ELMA South Africa Foundation: invests in organizations supporting development and progress in South Africa
Their team and Board is only listed in their PDF "progress reports" listed on their website. Their team is not found visibly elsewhere on their site. Their charity is also registered in the UK and the Charity Commission lists the board members (link below). Its main foundation, ELMA Foundation funds numerous foundations including: Clinton Health Access, GAVI, Gates Foundation, Aga Khan, Last Mile Health (funded by Global Fund, Gates, GAVI, and others), Acumen Fund (Chris Anderson's wife's non-profit), and Thorn (more about this below).
Clive Calder resides in the Cayman Islands and sits on the board in NY. He is a record executive and businessman who co-founded Zomba Group which he later become the sole owner. Zomba Group signed Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Janet Jackson, and Britney Spears.
Robyn Calder who sits on their board in Africa is also on the board of the END Fund, who is partnered with Gates Foundation, GAVI, and others. I could not find any familial links between Clive and Robyn. What is strange is that a corporation search brings up Robyn's name who is tied with Caris Corporation. Former names of this business include Zomba Entertainment Corporation. Apparently Clive had a convoluted and personal management style, but it does not explain why Robyn's name is on Caris Corporation if she does not appear to have ties with him. On https://www.corporationwiki.com/p/2os10g/caris-corporation Clive's name apparent is on the Caris Corporation - this is strange.
