My friend who knows all the normal police, traffic and emergency helicopters flight patterns near the freeway, said that was very unusual. When I looked up, I couldn't tell their color. I can't say they were black, but I also couldn't tell if they were white or any other distinguishing color. They were also wide in shape. Not Chinook wide, but certainly more wide than the normal police and traffic helicopters. He stressed that was a very unusual occurrence.
