Remember the NHL strikes? The only achievement from that was they taught their most devout fans how to live without them. This will be no different.
NBA? NFL? MLB? In the process of being relegated to the scrapheap of history. Why? The owners became "woke" and destroyed trillion dollar industries that have made multimillionaires of countless racial minorities. Who in their right mind makes the financially irresponsible deduction that SPORTS fans are more interested in social justice than the SPORT they enjoy?
SPORTS are a distraction from the nasty political environment we are forced to endure. By making SPORTS a franchise of this destructive political environment, leagues have disenfranchised their customers. Disenfranchised customers = ZERO revenue. If future minority athletes cannot become multimillionaires through professional sports, what other option do they have? Rioting in the name of faux social justice really doesn't pay that much.
Entertainers (sports or otherwise) may as well move to China where they can live in bliss alongside their Communist ilk. There is nothing I'd enjoy more than seeing the Michael Moore's, Stephen King's, Colin Kaepernick's, and Lebron Jame's of the world picking soybeans on the State Farm - all in matching dungarees.

The Green Bay Packers are a publicly held team. The City of Green Bay and many individual people own shares in the team. I am a "shareholder" with voting rights and my family own season tickets. Unfortunately, Mark Murphy's tenure is never on the ballot for the annual meeting. I have written to Mr. Murphy twice, and been given a cursory form letter response. As he said, "I often hear from fans to 'Stick to sports." I am one of those fans. I told my family to sell my tickets this year. It might be permanent. Thank you, Mr. Murphy, for destroying the greatest franchise in sports.

I will never watch another NBA game on TV or go to a game in person. For now, I'll stick to College Basketball…at least until THEY start the "Knee Crap" at which time I will stop watching them and stop supporting the offending schools! SOROS can make up the difference I guess.

Sports used to be entertainment for people to escape the problems in their lives for a few hours, relax & enjoy rooting for their favorite teams while not having to deal with all the cares in the world. Now? Sports has been hijacked by politics & weaponized to psychologically brainwash viewers & condition their behavior to act in accordance to a prescribed agenda for the masses. NO THANK YOU!!

Well, these players are violating the terms of their multi-million dollar contracts. They're there to play ball, not to be community agitators spreading a message of hate and division. More and more avid, life-long sports fans are falling away. The upside to that is spending more quality time with your families, reconnecting, without your face glued to the TV all weekend. And maybe some of you might even consider going back to church. I'm loving it.

I live in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Life long Packer fan. The Packers are dead to me. High school sports is the only thing left and the teacher's union will not let the kids play.
He could have made a statement saying he did not think this was a good idea for the over all health of the league and resigned. He didn't. Now look at yourself. Declining fan participation and ratings. This has to impact salaries. Once that happens, the shiitee will hit the fan like the shiitee that you are throwing at your own fans. Pro sports are abusing the sensibilities of their own fans. Who does that in business. I bet Goodyear wishes it had made a different choice on SJ. I hope the blimp crashes to the ground. Have a goodyear credit card. Cutting it in half and sending it in with my next payment with a cordial letter on my motives to stop doing business with goodyear.
