You don't know how bad things really are. Not bad in a "the world is ending" kind of way. Bad in an existential crisis sort of way. All humans are bad. It's pretty Biblical. Everyone is inherently evil. What we are seeing right now is everyone trying to make up for it by performatively trying to seem like good people. Kind of like Trump. He ran his campaign making big promises and saying he'd jail people, but he hasn't really done anything. He just sells merch, does speaking tours, and begs for money.

Just to be reminded that I should eat something or clean up or be more proactive and productive. I can go days without eating once I substitute alcohol for meals.
