Jay “Bishop”, just a thought. Hasn’t Q mentioned Bishop before, maybe in a chess move?

Bishop (chess)

Edit

The bishop (♗,♝) is a piece in the game of chess. Each player begins the game with two bishops. One starts between the king's knight and the king, the other between the queen's knight and the queen. The starting squares are c1 and f1 for White's bishops, and c8 and f8 for Black's bishops.

The bishop has no restrictions in distance for each move, but is limited to diagonal movement. Bishops, like all other pieces except the knight, cannot jump over other pieces. A bishop captures by occupying the square on which an enemy piece sits.

The bishops may be differentiated according to which wing they begin on, i.e. the king's bishop and queen's bishop. As a consequence of its diagonal movement, each bishop always remains on either the white or black squares, and so it is also common to refer to them as light-squared or dark-squared bishops.

Report: SPLC Tied to Violent Antifa Organization

June 4, 2019Christopher Holton

On 21 May an important article by Tyler O’Neil appeared on PJ Media in which evidence was presented that indicated ties between the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and the violent, political extremist organization Antifa.

Not enough attention has been focused on O’Neill’s article and the revelations it disclosed:

O’Neill cites research from Dr. Eoin Lenihan. Lenihan’s data indicates that “chief investigative reporter for the SPLC Matthew Hayden [has] connections within Antifa,” which Lenihan describes as “problematic.”

Not enough attention has been focused on O’Neill’s article and the revelations it disclosed:

https://pjmedia.com/trending/report-shows-online-ties-linking-huffpost-the-guardian-and-splc-to-antifa/

O’Neill cites research from Dr. Eoin Lenihan. Lenihan’s data indicates that “chief investigative reporter for the SPLC Matthew Hayden [has] connections within Antifa,” which Lenihan describes as “problematic.”

Hayden’s ties to Antifa are especially troubling given the SPLC’s prior acknowledgement of Antifa’s violence and outright refusal to include the organization in their list of “hate” groups:

https://capitalresearch.org/article/splc-wont-label-antifa-as-hate-group/

The SPLC’s refusal to designate Antifa a hate group was based on the contortionist logic that Antifa’s hate was not “discriminatory.” That nonsense was expressed by the now former president of the SPLC, Richard Cohen:

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/southern-poverty-law-center-condemns-antifa-but-wont-call-hate-group

Ironically, Cohen resigned under pressure in March due to revelations that the SPLC was overrun with sexual harassment and discriminatory practices on his watch:

https://www.dailysignal.com/2019/03/25/splc-president-richard-cohen-resigns-from-embattled-left-wing-nonprofit/

The reality is that the SPLC targets conservative organizations with trumped-up “hate” designations in an effort to stifle speech in much the same way that Antifa uses violence and intimidation to silence its opponents. So evidence of interaction between the two organizations should not come as a surprise.

But the interaction does reveal something about the veracity of the SPLC’s claim that they “followed” Antifa. Exactly what did they mean when Cohen said that the SPLC “followed” Antifa?

This would not be the first time that the SPLC’s work ended up tied to leftist violence.

In 2012 Floyd Lee Corkins attacked the headquarters of the Family Research Council (FRC) and wounded a security guard. Corkins said that he carried out the attack because the FRC had been listed as a hate group by the SPLC.

As for Antifa, there can be no doubt that Antifa is a violent organization that targets people and organizations for their views. There is a great deal of evidence to demonstrate this:

Antifa professor attacks Trump supporter

Antifa commits assaults at prayer rally in Portland

FBI investigating Antifa plot to buy guns from Mexican drug cartel for armed rebellion

FBI investigating meetings between Antifa and ISIS

Even CNN has acknowledged that Antifa uses violence:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUu46J_OHQ4

In December Antifa members attacked two U.S. Marines in Philadelphia:

It can only be described as disturbing that the SPLC has demonstrated ties to an organization that has a pattern of committing acts of violence.

Oregon state police returning to Portland following fatal shooting

Gov. Brown said the nearly 100 days of protests have stretched the Portland Police Bureau’s resources thin

Under the plan, the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office will prosecute serious criminal offenses, including arson and physical violence. Meanwhile, the sheriff's office will work with other agencies to hold people booked for violent behavior and ensure that there is adequate jail space to hold such individuals, according to the statement.

“We all must come together—elected officials, community leaders, all of us—to stop the cycle of violence,” said Brown. “But this is only the first step. Real change will come from the hard work to achieve racial justice. And it starts with all of us listening to each other, and working together."

The U.S. Attorney and the FBI will also be committing additional resources for the investigation of criminal activity, the statement said.

Protests on Sunday night in Portland saw people demonstrating outside a public safety building, leading to police declaring the gathering an unlawful assembly. Several people were detained after police said protesters were seen throwing projectiles.

Some of the protesters were heard earlier chanting “No Cops - No Prisons, Total Abolition," according to a tweet from a reporter with Portland's KOIN.

It follows a chaotic 24 hours in Portland that began on Saturday evening when a caravan of about 600 vehicles packed with Trump supporters drove through the liberal city and was met with counterprotesters, leading to skirmishes between the groups.

About 15 minutes after the caravan left the city, a supporter of the right-wing group Patriot Prayer was fatally shot.

Patriot Prayer founder Joey Gibson identified the victim as Aaron “Jay” Danielson, who allegedly also went by the name Jay Bishop, according to the group's Facebook page. Gibson called the victim a “good friend,” but provided no additional details.

Mueller lawyer: NYT story on DOJ secretly limiting Russia probe is 'wrong'

Prosecutor Andrew Weissmann disputed some of the claims in the article

Guys WTH Is This about

A top prosecutor from Robert Mueller's special counsel's office disputed a New York Times report that said then-Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein limited Mueller's investigation by keeping him from exploring President Trump's financial ties to Russia.

According to the Times, former law enforcement officials said Rosenstein secretly told Mueller not to take his Russia probe down that path without telling the FBI. After the report came out, prosecutor Andrew Weissmann disputed it.

"NYT story today is wrong re alleged secret DOJ order prohibiting a counterintelligence investigation by Mueller, 'without telling the bureau,'" Weissmann tweeted Sunday night. "Dozens of FBI agents/analysts were embedded in Special Counsel's Office and we were never told to keep anything from them."

Weissmann added that the Times was also incorrect in reporting that Rosenstein concluded they lacked a good reason to investigate Trump's personal ties to Russia.

Weissmann cited the Justice Department's appointment order that named Mueller as special counsel, which said Mueller was authorized to investigate, among other things, "any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump."

The Russia probe has drawn recent attention after the Senate Intelligence Committee released the fifth and final volume of its report on Russian election interference earlier this month.

The report noted that Russia "took advantage" of members of the Trump transition team and their "relative inexperience in government, opposition to Obama administration policies, and Trump's desire to deepen ties with Russia to pursue unofficial channels through which Russia could conduct diplomacy."
