The present inventors have found that hypersonic sound (hypersonic sound) which is a sound having an extraordinary structure and is rich in a component having an ultrahigh frequency exceeding the upper limit of the audible frequency generates a brain activity increasing effect, that is, a hypersonic sound effect, which increases the brain blood flow in a region of a specific brain of a human being listening to the hypersonic sound, that is, a region including a brainstem, a thalamus and a hypothalamus and a backbone brain network (that is, a backbone brain network system) projected into the brain on the basis of the backbone brain, and increases the power of a brain wave α wave which is an index of the backbone brain activity (for example, see patent documents 1 to 6 and non-patent documents 1 to 4).

In recent years, it has been found that a uhf component, which is a sinusoidal signal having a peak at a specific frequency generated by an artificial product such as an electronic device, has a negative effect such as discomfort or evasive behavior on a human or an animal to which the uhf component is applied, and the uhf component is used as a young person prevention device, a rat destruction device, or the like (see, for example, non-patent documents 5 to 6). It is considered that the activity of the neural circuit of the reward system of a specific part of the brain, particularly the brain belonging to the basal brain network system is suppressed, and the sense of comfort is impaired, thereby causing an escape action.
