The jews, and their offspring, the christians and muslims, all worship different gods, yet claim they are they same. There is little unity beyond the fact that none of them limit their worship to a single god of everything. The jews have their exalted founders, whose words were "perfect" in Abraham, Issac, & Jacob, and the Judaic messiah prophesies. Jesus is the fulfillment of those prophecies for some jews, and a co-equal to the creator of everything to many christians. The muslims appreciate Jesus's view on things, but Mohammed is their earthly infallible guy. They are unified in that their practices of mutilating the genitals of little boys and worshiping female virgins as among the most prized possessions on earth.
We as people are generally united…our religions divide us.
