starched and ironed box pleats with a mellow tan, oatmeal or grey color, perhaps with small textured buttons would make these conference tables seem more formal and important, extending to the event itself.
the flat surface to the skirts is maybe the least noble option, particularly at the white house. cheers on not using white or off white moose hall fabric any more though.
