Charlie Hebdo to reprint Prophet Muhammad cartoons on day Islamist attackers of French satirical magazine go on trial

French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, which was targeted by jihadists in 2015, is to republish the controversial cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad ahead of the trial of the gunmen this week.

A special edition of the magazine on Wednesday will feature interviews with family members of the victims of the terrorist attack, an article on the public’s attitude towards freedom of expression and a reprint of Islam-themed cartoons, including those featuring the Prophet Muhammad, Charlie Hebdo announced on Tuesday.

The prophet cartoons triggered the 2015 spree of terror violence in Paris, in which 17 people were killed over the course of three days. Of those lives, 12 were lost in the January 7 raid on the Charlie Hebdo office. The 12 drawings were initially published by a Danish daily in 2005 and then reprinted by the French magazine.

The magazine is famous for pushing the boundaries of societal norms in France in the name of freedom of expression, with virtually no topic deemed untouchable by cartoonists. The attackers, a group of radical Islamists linked to the terrorist group Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), found the cartoons blasphemous and sought brutal retribution, prosecutors will try to prove.

Fourteen people are in the defendant’s dock in the landmark terrorism trial, with three tried in absentia and presumed to be dead. The charges against them include illegal possession of weapons and providing logistical support. Prosecutors stressed the importance of bringing to justice the accomplices as well as the people who took up arms and went on a shooting spree five years ago. The surviving defendants face punishment between 20 years and life in prison.

The trial was expected to start in April, but was postponed due to the Covid-19 epidemic in France. The proceedings are expected to last until November 10.

Here's the Marine Corps' Plan to End Gender Segregation at Boot Camp

Marine leaders want every male recruit arriving at boot camp to train alongside women in the same company, putting an end to the longstanding tradition of separating trainees by gender, according to newly released plans to make both of the service’s recruit depots coed.

All-male recruit companies trained solely by men will be made “obsolete,” according to a memo the Marine Corps submitted to the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services. That includes boot camp at the Marine Corps’ West Coast training depot in San Diego, which currently doesn’t accept female trainees.

“Gender integration at Marine Corps Recruit Training remains a top priority,” the memo states. “The outcome the Marine Corps desires for gender integration is for every male recruit to train alongside a female recruit within the same company.”

The Marine Corps was tasked with explaining its short- and long-term plans for integrating recruit training, which was mandated by the 2020 National Defense Authorization Act. Signed into law in December, the NDAA requires the Marine Corps to stop separating trainees by gender at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island in South Carolina within five years and in San Diego within eight.

The memo says officials from Training and Education Command are now working with Marine Corps Installations Command “to identify the requirements, shortfalls, and cost estimates to meet the NDAA requirements.”

The biggest limitation, officials added, is the need for new facilities to house coed training companies. Several coed companies have completed training at Parris Island since early 2019, but the East Coast recruit depot doesn’t have the space to accommodate that setup during certain months. The number of recruits shipping to boot camp spikes between June and September, when many new high-school graduates head off to training.

Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, which currently only trains men, needs new facilities not only for female recruits, but also for women drill instructors.

“Once the infrastructure conditions have been set at MCRD San Diego (MCRD SD) for integrated training,” the memo states, “then MCRD SD Drill Instructor School will begin training female Drill Instructors.”

Rixon thinks it is "the work of some shadowy agency that specializes in disinformation. They see your influence so now they are trying to capitalize on it by luring you in and feeding you this story in the hope that you'll take the bait. If you do, they can use you to propagate their own disinfo. Of course, I might be wrong but it's worth bearing in mind."

You cannot say our cartel or cabal is "criminal". Don't you see we actually own all of the lawmakers, and besides whatever we do is quite above any of the laws which apply to the common people? As for stuffing our pockets, the families which make up our network of central banks throughout the world are in fact the main power brokers in the world. That is our right. Your governments demand every year more than they can afford with one deficit budget after another, always saying that this or that is necessary. By indulging them we simply acquire more power and control. It is called "ownership".

What are we to do, give them our own gold or assets in their borrowing process, and never see it again?

That is one of the reasons why we have fiat money. It can be made out of nothing and we can make as much as your governments want, so long as they do not spend it on things against our interests or endeavors too far out of our control.

Also, we do not simply "give" it to them or there would be hyperinflation all of the time and no confidence in any fiat currency. Rather we "lend" it to them such that if we ever called in all the loans it would bankrupt every government which has been borrowing for years from our banks.

Furthermore, we are able to charge interest on what we lend, which usually sustains the value of our own holdings in compensation for the masses getting all of their free stuff, for so many generations and not paying us back for the exercise of our god-like powers in being able to create something out of nothing.

You have to realize that with the development of our central banking systems all over the world, and particularly through global development lending and our investments in places like China, the economy of the world has grown exponentially over the last 100 years. Presently, the US dollar cannot serve the global needs and is being phased out not with a whimper but with the bang of a mushroom cloud in the creation of unlimited trillions.

For decades we tried to hide what is now called "the shadow economy" where we worked with the US Fed to create vast amounts of cash out of nothing, to facilitate both business and political interests particularly in developing and other irascible nations around the world. It made little difference to inflation, as the money seldom made it back to the US or to Europe and it usually came back to our banks anyway.

Since 9/11 when the loss of some of those trillions was being investigated, we have been more open as to the importance of always having enough money on hand to do whatever we want, and quite frankly even if we were to make the US dollar debt to us $70 trillion as you say, what we have found is that people around the world, despite complaining about our alleged abuses of power, still keep demanding the stuff.

VIDEO: Prominent Democrats openly call for violence, riots, and uprisings

They're getting what they asked for

A video that splices together clips of prominent Democrats and progressives openly calling for political unrest is now trending online as the nation continues to be gripped by violence and riots in the streets.

The video, produced by Caldron Pool, has garnered 2.5 million views since being posted to Twitter on Sunday.

In its original post, the Caldron Pool account asks, "how did you think it would end?" insinuating that progressives' calls for violence have indeed given rise to the violence now playing out in communities across the country such as Portland, Oregon; Kenosha, Wisconsin; and Chicago.

BlazeTV host Elijah Schaffer — who has reported on much of the violence firsthand and has even had a gun pointed in his face as a result — tweeted out the video, calling it "the most important video of 2020."

Fellow BlazeTV host Steven Crowder suggested that the video be immediately turned into an ad for President Donald Trump's re-election campaign.

What are the details?

"I just don't know why there aren't uprisings all over the country," Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) says as the video opens, adding, "Maybe there will be."

The video then cuts to clips from two separate MSNBC newscasts where one contributors says, "People need to start taking to the streets" in opposition to Trump and then progressive Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) says, "There needs to be unrest in the streets."

After that, CNN host Chris Cuomo is shown saying, "Show me where it says that protests are supposed to be polite and peaceful," against a backdrop of news about widespread looting and vandalism in New York City.

Elsewhere in the video, liberal reporters, Hollywood celebrities, and politicians — including Democratic nominee and former Vice President Joe Biden — can be heard calling for violence against the president and antagonizing his supporters.

"If we were in high school, I'd take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him," Biden said about Trump in 2018.

Why does it matter?

Many Americans have become increasingly frustrated as protests against racial injustice and police brutality have devolved into violent riots over the last several months, seemingly with little or no opposition from Democratic leaders.

Democratic officials in many cities where violent riots have taken place have often acquiesced to demands to cut police budgets even as lawlessness runs rampant.

In response, President Trump has called out the violence and has made law and order a major theme of his re-election campaign, suggesting that if Democrats have their way, the violence will only continue and increase.

"Make no mistake, if you give power to Joe Biden, the radical left will defund police departments all across America," Trump said in his speech at the Republican National Convention last week. "They will pass federal legislation to reduce law enforcement nationwide. They will make every city look like Democrat-run Portland, Oregon."

Police union account of Jacob Blake shooting emerges, runs completely counter to the media narrative

Facts matter

The Kenosha Police Union on Friday released its to-date account on the moments that led up to the shooting of Jacob Blake by a police officer on Aug. 23.

New allegations about the encounter appear to show that the interaction was far more involved than what it seemed on the surface: Blake reportedly confronted officers, placed one of them in a headlock, and was armed with a knife that he refused to drop — all before a Kenosha police officer was able to fire his service weapon.

What's a very brief history here?

Kenosha Police Officer Rusten Sheskey reportedly shot Blake in the back seven times last week during a call for a domestic dispute. Blake's family has said he is paralyzed from the waist down because of the shooting.

Since then, violent riots and out-of-control protests in Blake's honor have erupted across the U.S., putting further strain and pressure on police-community relations.

What are the details?

Kenosha Police Union attorney Brendan Matthews said that Blake was armed with a knife at a residence other than his own when Sheskey and other officers arrived on the scene, WCCO-TV reported.

Blake was reportedly at the residence of his ex-girlfriend, who accused him of sexual assault in May. Blake's ex-girlfriend called police, alleging that he was attempting to steal her keys and vehicle. Reports say that because of the alleged May assault, Blake was not supposed to be at her residence at all.

When officers arrived, Blake reportedly fought against them and even allegedly placed one in a headlock.

"The officers first saw [Blake] holding the knife while they were on the passenger side of the vehicle," Matthews explained.

Sheskey later shot Blake in the back while the two engaged on the driver's side of the vehicle.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice continues to investigate the incident.

On Friday, Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul said that the agency can neither confirm nor deny the union's statement on the chain of events that led to Blake's shooting, but did point out that Blake was, in fact, in possession of a knife.

What else do we know about the police officer?

In a 2019 interview with the Kenosha News, Sheskey said he long wanted to be a police officer to help people.

"What I like most [about being an officer] is that you're dealing with people on perhaps the worst day of their lives, and you can try and help them as much as you can and make that day a little bit better," he said at the time. "And that, for the most part, people trust us to do that for them. And it's a huge responsibility, and I really like trying to help people. We may not be able to make a situation right, or better, but we can maybe make it a little easier for them to handle during that time."

Policing apparently runs in the family: Sheskey's grandfather served as an officer for the City of Kenosha for 33 years.

Tear gas & armored vehicles deployed on streets of Beirut amid protests

Hundreds gathered on the streets of Beirut to protest the appointment of Mustapha Adib as Lebanon’s new prime minister. The demonstrators were met with tear gas and armored vehicles.

The clashes took place on the same day French President Emmanuel Macron made his second visit to the city in a month to check on reform progress.

Protesters voiced concerns about the appointment of Adib as the head of the nation’s government, claiming he was not radical enough to change the country’s political structure.

In an interview, Macron highlighted the protesters’ failure to produce a leader with the potential for taking charge of the government, following Prime Minister Hassan Diab stepping down and removing his cabinet after the recent major explosion in Beirut killed nearly 200 people.

Police forces deployed armored, military-style vehicles to disperse crowds and used tear gas while demonstrators lobbed projectiles at them.

Protests against Lebanon’s government have been raging since October of last year but slowed down during the Covid-19 pandemic – only to pick up again after the deadly blast in Beirut’s port. The explosion was caused by chemical ammonium nitrate, which had been stored there for years without proper security or safety precautions.

In the wake of the explosion, protesters clashed with police forces, set fires, and even attempted to storm government ministry buildings.

Zuckerberg to donate $300 million to ensure Covid-safe US elections as Facebook hunts for Russian disinformation

Mark Zuckerberg has said he will donate $300 million to help ensure a “secure” election process amid the Covid-19 pandemic, while Facebook remains on the prowl for alleged “foreign interference” from Russia.

Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan announced on Tuesday that they will donate the hefty pile of cash to “two non-partisan organizations” – the Center for Tech and Civic Life and the Center for Election Innovation & Research. The donation will help with the highly controversial mail-in voting system and go towards ensuring safety measures at polling stations.

“There will be historic levels of voting by mail, and increased need for poll workers and equipment to support contact-free voting,” Zuckerberg said in a Facebook post. In addition to the donations, Facebook has a goal of providing four million people with voting information, specifically information on “how to vote by mail in each state.”

Zuckerberg said he was personally “concerned” by the challenges US election infrastructure is facing during the pandemic and that he was committed to helping “both red and blue states” make sure “electoral systems are secure and voters are informed,” so that Americans can have confidence in the “integrity and legitimacy” of the system.

It’s not just Covid-19 Facebook is attempting to save the US election from, however. Also on Tuesday, the social media giant released new statistics about its ongoing digital war on disinformation – specifically from Russia, Pakistan, and the US itself.

A few commenters, however, did appear genuinely impressed by Zuckerberg’s supposed effort to secure the US election, with one saying people should “call out great things when [they] see them.”

'Secure Tolerance': The Jewish Plan to Permanently Silence the West, Part 1

In 2010, Harvard duo Christopher Chabris and Daniel Simons published The Invisible Gorilla, which detailed their study of the human capacity to overlook even the most obvious things. In one of their experiments, Chabris and Simons created a video in which students wearing white and black t-shirts pass a basketball between themselves. Viewers were asked to count the number of times the players with the white shirts passed the ball, and many were later very satisfied to find that they were accurate in their counting. This satisfaction was tainted, however, when they were asked if they had spotted “the gorilla.” Amidst considerable confusion, the video would then be replayed for the puzzled viewers, who were stunned to see a man in a gorilla suit walk among the students and balls, take up a position in the center of the screen, and wave at the camera. They’d missed him entirely in their initial viewing. The study highlighted the capacity for humans to become fixated on set tasks, events, or other distractions, and miss even the most elaborate and remarkable of occurrences.

When it comes to Jewish activism, and especially Jewish activism in the area of censorship and mass migration, I fear that the same dynamics are at work. Panicked by this or that website or YouTube channel being defunded or banned, we miss the ‘Invisible Gorilla’ — a plan of action far more horrifying and deadly in its implications than any single act of censorship.

There are essentially two forms of censorship. The hard kind we are very familiar with. It consists in the banning or removal of websites, videos, books, podcasts, and social media accounts. It extends to defunding and deplatforming, and it reaches its apogee in the banning of activists from entering certain countries, in the arrest of activists on spurious grounds, and in the development of new laws with harsh criminal penalties for speech. These methods are dangerous and rampant, and I myself have fallen victim to several of them.

I think, however, that softer, more diffuse methods of censorship are even more insidious and perhaps even more catastrophic. We could consider, for example, the manipulation of culture so that even if certain speech is not illegal and carries no legal repercussions, it nevertheless leads to the loss of employment, the destruction of education opportunities, and the dissolving of one’s relationships. This is a form of cultural self-censorship, involving the modification of in-group standards, that has demonstrable Jewish origins. “Soft” censorship can also take the form of socio-cultural prophylaxis. Take, for example, the recent initiative of the U.S. State Department to initiate a drive to engage in the global promotion of philo-Semitic (pro-Jewish) attitudes. I really don’t believe that this will play out in the manner the State Department hopes, and I watch with interest to see precisely what the methodologies of this policy will be. I sincerely doubt its prospects for success. But what other way can this be interpreted than as a preventative measure, obstructing the growth of organic attitudes that, let’s face it, are more likely to skew to the anti-Jewish? Finally, isn’t it in the nature of contemporary culture, with its emphasis on entertainment, consumption, and sex, to be the perfect environment in which to hide many “Invisible Gorillas”? Isn’t it a whirlwind of fixations and distractions, replete with untold numbers of “woke” viewers happy to report that they’ve been enthusiastically counting passes and have the accurate number? Isn’t it rather the axiom of our time that, from the idiotic Left to the idiotic Right, Invisible Gorillas stroll freely and unhindered, laughing and waving as they go, hidden in plain sight?

It was a clever tactic. The Board soon began sponsoring research from ‘independent’ bodies staffed by, and often explicitly created by, Jews.[2] One of the best examples of such bodies, and certainly the most influential, was ‘Political and Economic Planning’ (PEP) a supposedly “independent research organization whose philosophy and methodology are based on the principles and values of sociology.”[3] Ray Honeyford states that although PEP dabbled in other areas, “its most influential work has been in the field of race. It is no exaggeration to say that its work in this field is far and away the biggest source of information, ideas, and opinions about the state of race relations in Britain and the experience of discrimination by ethnic minorities.”[4] One of its 1977 publications has been called “the bible of the race relations lobby in Britain.”[5]

But PEP was never ‘independent.’ From its inception it was closely linked to the National Committee for Commonwealth Immigrants (NCCI), a body which worked to advance the cause (and demographics) of Blacks and South-East Asians in Britain, but which was run by a group of decidedly pale, not to mention Hebraic, British-born lawyers. In one of those little instances of lack of accountability in our modern ‘democracy,’ in 1965 the NCCI had been inexplicably appointed to “advise the British government on matters relating to the integration of Commonwealth immigrants.”[6] From its early days of operation, the NCCI, which became the Community Relations Commission in 1968, was staffed with Jewish lawyers like Anthony Lester (1936–). Although never elected to any public office his own Wikipedia entry states that Lester was “directly involved with the drafting of race relations legislation in Britain.” In 1968 Lester founded the Runnymede Trust, described on its website as “the UKs leading independent race equality think tank.” Indicative of the ethnic composition of the Trust, and its deeper origins and goals, Lester had founded the organization with his fellow Jew, Jim Rose. Rose is described in the Palgrave Dictionary of Anglo-Jewish History as the “Director of the Survey of Race Relations in Britain. … The Race Relations Act owed much to him.”[7] So basically, if you see a ‘think tank’ described as ‘independent,’ you can be sure its board reads like a Bar Mitzvah invitation list.

Update (1540ET): Just days after Abbott unveiled its new 5-minute rapid COVID test, CNBC reported Tuesday that Roche is planning to launch its own rapid COVID test in Europe later this month. The company said it plans to seek emergency use authorization from the FDA - a seal of approval that Abbott's test has already received.

The antigen test will be used in point-of-care settings for both asymptomatic and symptomatic patients, the company said. It added that the test typically yields results in about 15 minutes.

The company said the test accurately diagnoses an infected Covid-19 patient more than 96% of the time and accurately shows a negative result more than 99% of the time, based on a combined sample size of 426 samples from two separate testing centers.

Roche said the company intends to apply for an emergency use authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. At the end of September, the test will be available in countries that recognize the CE regulatory marking, which are the member states of the European Union, it said.

“This can help healthcare professionals identify a SARS-CoV-2 infection in people suspected to carry the virus with results typically ready in 15 minutes,” Roche said in a statement. “In addition, it serves as a valuable initial screening test for individuals that have been exposed to SARS-CoV-2 infected patients or a high risk environment."

The test is meant to be performed by a healthcare professional, the company said, but the advantage is that it does not need to be performed in a clinical lab, cutting down the time it takes to produce results.

CONFIRMED: Judicial Watch Docs Show US Embassy in Ukraine and Crooked Ambassador Yovanovitch Spied on US Conservatives

In October 2019 House Democrats called in fired US Ambassador Marie Yovanovich to testify in their sham impeachment proceedings.

Yovanovich was a noted Trump-hater who blocked Ukrainian officials from traveling to the United States to hand over evidence of Obama-Biden misconduct during the 2016 election to President Trump.

Yovanovich was US ambassador to Ukraine during the 2016 election when the Ukrainian government was colluding with the DNC and Hillary Campaign to undermine the US presidential election.

Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenkoko told journalists in March that Yovanovitch gave him a “do not prosecute” list during their first meeting.

The president ordered her removal from her post in Ukraine in May 2019.

She was openly anti-Trump.

Back in October investigative journalist John Solomon announced that the former Ambassador Yovanovich was monitoring the reporters digging into Ukrainian lawlessness.

State Department Illegally Monitored Trump Jr., Hannity, Ingraham, Posobiec And Others From Kiev: FOIA

The US State Department illegally monitored the social media accounts of 13 conservative Americans, including Donald Trump Jr., Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Lou Dobbs and Jack Posobiec, according to Just The News, citing memos scheduled to be turned over to Judicial Watch.

The surveillance operation, which began in March 2019, was run out of the US Embassy in Kiev while under the command of then-Ambassador (and impeachment witness) Marie Yovanovitch, after journalist John Solomon began publishing stories about the embassy's activities at The Hill and on Fox News, according to Solomon.

When the embassy sought help from the State Department in Washington to use a contractor called Crowd Tangle to continue the social media monitoring, it was advised the activities were "barred by federal law," an official familiar with the documents told Just the News. The embassy ceased the activities and asked for training about the issue, the official said.

While the released documents will have some information redacted, they will identify the 13 Americans whose accounts were targeted and confirm that some officials were aware of the monitoring, the officials said.

Those monitored also include Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton, Sebatstion Gorka, and Fox News personalities Sara Carter and Dan Bongino, according to the report.
