To give context to the corny dog thing, a little taste of Texas culture.

They cancelled the State Fair of Texas this year, which is fairly (haha) massive annual event held in Dallas. People come from all over the state and beyond. The food vendors are a major attraction, serving novelty fried whatever, turkey legs, and... fresh-made corny dogs. It's one of the most commonly available food items across the park.
