>Romans 14:1 For one believes he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables.

Thank you to the anon in last bread for sharing that Bible reference. Very interesting. Especially because I have noticed that many satanists espouse veganism for some reason (to encourage people to be weaker and more vulnerable to disease?).

I think the passage is also interesting because it is talking in part about not judging or rejecting others for what they eat or for fasting or not fasting, because it is not any ritualistic law that makes a man righteous but only whether he has accepted God as his almighty father.

That aside, I still feel compelled not to eat animals other than fish. I don't advocate veganism at all, though I don't eat animals anymore except fish. I do not judge others who eat animals, and I certainly did so all my life until recently. I also eat dairy and eggs and fish whenever possible. I think I have felt healthier for doing so. But most of all I just love animals and could no longer stand the idea of having to kill them and eat them in order to eat when I personally have other alternatives. It was just personal. Which is why I searched through the Bible for any mention of Jesus eating meat and couldn't find any. Fish seems to be an especially important spiritual food, even if one does eat other meat, though. If I had no alternatives or needed to do so for health reasons, I would eat animal meat.
