I've said plenty of times that now isn't the time for identity politics, but acting like everyone is all the same and denying the reality of differences isn't helpful and I'd suggest it's actually more detrimental than translating thoughts to honest words.
Besides, brushing people off when they make genuine arguments about this just makes you look less genuine.
