I live near this area, and about a year ago, my niece (who lives closer to this area) was walking/jogging in her neighborhood, when a guy started slowly following her in his car. She saw him and got nervous so she started to head the other way. He got out of his car and started to run after her.
She is an athlete so thankfully she was able to outrun him, and jumped a fence to get back to her house.
My brother & sister-in-law thought he was chasing her trying to steal her phone. Knowing what I know, I have told them I think he was trying to kidnap her for trafficking. She is 15.
My brother and nephew went running after the car to get a plate #, but he took off.
They blew it off, but I swear I still think he was trying to kidnap her, not take her phone.
Pretty scary when it hits this close to home.
