It's not his "position" … it's his policies (of appeasement). Appeasement did not work for Europe in the 1930s and it will not work today.

Bullies are never satisfied. If you give them your lunch money once, they will take it every day. There IS no "enough" for them. Not satisfied with your lunch money, they break your glasses and come back for your shoes, your bicycle, your girlfriend and, ultimately, your life.

The spiral ends at the grave … yours or theirs.

The problem is not caused by Wheeler's job … it's caused by his lack of spine in opposing evil.

He's the kid with the taped up glasses trying to run away because he didn't stand his ground to start with.

I've got a better idea, Mr. Mayor: since you can't move Portland away from the bullies, why not pull your nuts up and move the bullies out of Portland?
