that movie scared the shit out of me and they played over and over on Cinemax for years….
When I was 7 years old, I was riding my bike around the neighborhood in my small city…there were 2 hills we used to cruise down 1 block from my street, at the bottom of the hill I would be about 2 1/2 blocks from home, short city blocks. A souped up white two door car stopped where I was at the bottom of the hill, the guys got out of the car and started to come toward me and they kept saying come on little girl you want to go for a ride, we have candy as they slowly approached from two directions I took off down the street in the opposite direction toward a main road I was not supposed to be riding my bike at….but I knew how to get home and lose those guys…to this day 45 years later i wonder if they were trying to kidnap me too. Blonde hair and blue eyed little girl I was….I thank God I had the street smarts and the gut instinct to get away….
