Would like to give a shout of gratitude to the FL Men & Women in blue. I wish I could narrow it down to my local city but would potentially dox myself in doing so. Recently had a gun pulled on me point blank while walking very close to my house in a drive-by type situation. Completely random but also symptomatic of what is going on throughout the country. It was in no way racially motivated. I legally carry but didn't have time to draw and was pissed enough to chase the car, get a tag and confirm where it was going. Called it in to the police and they followed up, located the vehicle, executed a search, found the weapon and made an arrest. Feel a bit guilty knowing how many things I got away with as a young adult and that this very young individual is now facing serious charges because of a bad decision. Shit's getting real though and empathy these days is luxury. The police were excellent and hopefully saved this guy from himself.
