Anons, "future mayor anon mcanon" here. If any anons familiar with my posting, my biggest thing is understanding ones local government structure. So we see the words "weak mayor" and im willing to bet many anons and normies alike figure that to be a more negative description of character rather than structural power description. A "weak mayor", or a city with "weak mayor powers" generally may have manager-council structure. This is what im talking about when everyone goes screeching to mayors about shit they have no control over. Like police. City manager can do all that shit. Sometimes the mayor may have vote with the council and without any executive options like veto or sending back for reconsideration

Sometimes they will but without a vote count.

Anyway something to consider because tbh im doubting a lot of these places have strong mayor powers
