But I DO notice whenever someone posts an anime, certain people go ballistic about it.

I'm changing my stance on absentee ballots. I used to view them as the only legitimate way of voting without showing up in person.
More and more I think the rule should be, show up in person or no vote. I'm saying that as someone who lives abroad, and who has used absentee before. I now believe ANY other form of vote than in-person is too open to fraud. Blockchain, phone, mail, doesn't matter.

Exactly. I'm an American living overseas. They could for example allow voting at the embassy (maybe they do).
The point is, I no longer believe it is incumbent on the govt to make my job of voting easy. If I want to vote, I'll get my ass to a polling place. As you say, they could set them up at mil bases, embassies, etc.
