it's not "defeatist crap". It's reality, but I'd say that there aren't any 10s of Millions of BLM protesters.
Trump never needed any more votes than any other candidate needed. The idea that Trump was going to outperform any other President ever by a large margin was always bullshit. It was unnecessary bullshit, this whole "the last 4-6% are gonna be tough - they're lost forever" was always delusional.
GOP does win landslides though, Nixon 2 and Reagan 2 were both landslides.
