To be successful, Color Revolutions must be perceived as peaceful by the general population. That’s an important predicate for later stages of the script to work because the target of the coup must be seen as a violent autocrat desperate to crush the will of the people. Once force is deployed against “non-violent” crowds, the revolutionaries capture the moral high ground secure the consent of the wider population and the coup can proceed storming the seat of government.

Problem here is that not many people are buying that late night crowds of antifa thugs are peaceful, law abiding protesters.
