Another thing I want to say, I know I'm going to get beat up for.

If POTUS really did say anything about not parading around our wounded vets, it doesn't look good or Americans don't like that.

You could understand where he'd be coming from. I don't see other countries doing that to their military members - ie parading around thier wounded or fallen soldiers. Sure we have wounded soldiers, so does every country. There's nothing we can do to thank them enough for giving up so much for the freedoms we have today, however, who does it benefit to show that? Does it make us look stronger? Not really. Does it help to promote other young folks to join the military? Not really. We should honor them, of course, and take the best care of them and love them, but not take every opportunity to make them a specticle.

I don't know, maybe I'm wrong and I will accept it given a good argument, but this is what I feel everytime I see them. I also just want to cry thinking about all the young lives lost in stupid, senseless and endless wars!!

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I totally get it if you did get drafted. That's a different story all together.

Hey, I come from a country where if you don't make a certain grade by end of H.S. to enter into college, then you join the military. You are forced, you have no other choice. That sucks!!
