I'd bet Dems wanted a month of mail in ballots before making the Biden switch. Vote for Biden counts for whoever steps in to replace him. They wouldn't want to reveal the new candidate this early, imo.
I'm sure this has been discussed on QR before. My memory is that a Constitutional lawfag exposed this potential event a while back and confirmed a vote for Biden would automatically be counted for replacement candidate. Can anyone else remember this debate?
