So did I. I didn't want to drop everything in one post. The card reader would get stuck sometimes and chew up a card. You'd have to pick up your deck and walk into the cardpunch room. There was a utility to number the cards. Handy in case you dropped your deck, as sometimes happened. There was another machine that could read the card numbers applied by the first utility, and sort the cards back into program sequence. You'd turn the wrong card 90 degrees, then type a corrected one, insert it into the deck, and go get in line in the computer room to have a turn compiling your program again.
