FBI said it does not designate groups as domestic terrorist threats. To my knowledge, has never said whether it had ever investigated QAnon gp as a potential terrorist threat.
We know FBI did investigate 8chan in May (after Poway attack) - that's when they screwed up by posting and not erasing the "you's".
