For some reason, I can still remember as a 13-year old kid watching Barbara Bush throw out the 1st pitch of Game 2 of the 1990 World Series. At the time the troops were over in the Persian Gulf. IF you would have told me she was in the cabal then I would have thought you were nuts.
By the way, the Reds beat 27-game winner Bob Welch in that game on their way to win the Series.
